Reading: Airshell

Airshell progresses from a futuristic city from the point of view of a slightly crazed, yet dolefully brilliant young man, to something that's out of the world. In essence, it's similar to Deathnote. As the story proceeds, it resembles something out of the pen of Nihei more and more. In that aspect, I'll say it's fantasy before the mind games. The mind games are a tasty addition though. I really appreciate how the writer intrigue the readers by giving them clues, such that the readers may need to use a little bit of intellect themselves. How Rene turns out to be something else was a wonderful transition - unlike most other stories, whereby the revelations are more crude, this one was done perfectly.
