Sensitivity tablet from a plank of wood and a microphone?

A viable idea if put on the dusty shelves of the market. Most tablets I can’t even begin to think of affording, but such technology (if they do develop it) would be helpful to impoverished artists like me. :D Plus, it saves desk-space! Of course, I don’t think they were catering to those artistically inclined when they invented this toy of theirs, but it’s all I can think about when I read this article.
